Mosaïc is an ensemble of 6 musicians from Bulgaria, France, Portugal and Tunisia. Their compositions are above all, spaces of musical encounters, at the crossroads of jazz and Mediterranean music.
The musical language is varied and sophisticated, blending the Balkan melodic silhouette and ornaments, the chamber color of European classical music and the rhythmic essence of North Africa’s music. The collective and oral composition finds its subtlety in the detail of each voice, making the oral creation a new space for orchestration. As the residencies progress and the music becomes enriched and refined, carrying the inspiration of the different places of travels and encounters, it remains a space of invitation and exchange where the group regularly welcome other musicians from the Mediterranean for a special moment in the show.
First album 6th March 2026 on Fuga Libera
